iBall has launched new version of slide tablet called iBall Slide i7218. The new Slide i7218 runs on Android gingerbread OS and has 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. This tablet has 7 inch capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 800*480 pixels. It has 2MP rear camera and VGA front facing camera for video chatting. Other features of iBall Slide i7218 are full USB port, dual speakers, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory upto 32GB. The dimensions of this iBall tablet are 120*120 and weighs 450 grams. iBall Slide i7218 price in India is ₹11,999.
It is interesting to see how this iBall slide competes with less priced tablets such as Micromax Funbook which is priced at ₹6,500 and HCL Metlab U1 tablet priced at ₹8,000. Both Micromax and HCL tablets runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS compared to Slide i7218 tablets Gingerbread OS.
