Samsung has launched global version of Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos.  Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos CDMA+GSM  version was released earlier in India with a price tag of ₹13,490 and it is available in the market. Now GSM+GSM dual sim version of Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is launched to international GSM markets.
Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos GSM only version comes with 832MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and runs on Android Gingerbread OS. The phone has 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of HVGA 320*480 pixels(~165 ppi pixel density). The dimensions are 112.7*61.5*11.5mm and weighs 122 grams.  The new Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is as slim as original Samsung Galaxy Ace and weighs just 10 grams heavier.
This new Galaxy smartphone has Samsung’s proprietary ‘Dual SIM always on’ feature, which automatically forwards calls from SIM 2 to the SIM 1 when when the user is talking on SIM 1, meaning there are no calls missed calls. Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos are 5MP auto focus camera, 3GB internal memory and expandable memory upto 32GB through microSD card. The new Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos has 1300 mAh battery compared to 1650 mAh battery of CDMA variety.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos will first launch in Russia in June and it will roll out to other parts of world such as Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Middle East, Africa, and China.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray comes with Bravia Mobile Engine  LED backlite LCD 3.3 inch display screen and weight of the phone is 100g. The sleep look with matte finish on the sides and back also embossed Xperia Logo makes this phone attractive. The screen has two arcs on top and the bottom adds more style to the phone.  The tactile feedback of the buttons feels good. However volume rocker could have been bigger. The microSD and SIM card slots are housed under the battery, so there is no hot swap feature for both sim card and microSD.
The phone is powered by 1GHz Scorpion processor with  an Adreno 205 GPU and MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset.  This Xperia Ray runs on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS. The Timescape user interface displays Facebook, Twitter and other extensions as tiles which you can scroll through on the home screen. This looks good however functionality wise not so impressive. Screen response is fast and impressive but typing in portrait mode is little difficult as the screen size is small.
Sony Xperia Ray has impressive music play player.  The inbuilt speakers are based on Sony's xLOUD audio filter technology and sound from them is crisp and clear. The bundled headphone is not very good and has sound leakage.
