Sony has launched two water proof smartphones called as Sony Xperia Acro S and Sony Xperia Go respectively. These two Sony Smartphones are expected to be available globally in the third quarter of 2012. The prices of these also not revealed. However brief details of the Sony Xperia Acro S and Sony Xperia Go are below.
Sony Xperia Acro S: This comes with IP55 and IP57 ratings for the dust and water proof. That means this phone has the protection from the protection against dust-limited to ingress (no harmful deposits) and the effects of immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes. Sony Xperia Acro S has 4.3 inch 720p HD reality display,12MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. It is powered by Dual core 1.5GHz Scorpion processor with 1GB of RAM. This phone is also called as Sony LT26w.

Sony Xperia Go is protected from Dust and immersion in upto 1m of water for 30 minutes. The Xperia Go features 3.5 inch Reality Display screen, 5MP rear camera, 1GHz dual core processor. It runs on Android Gingerbread OS.
