HTC has announced its first dual sim Android ICS smartphone HTC Desire V along with a dedicated dual mode version for China called Desire VC. The new ICS dual sim phones Desire V and Desire VC have identical specifications but has different network support.
The Desire V supports tri band GSM on its secondary sim slot and GSM/EDGE + dual band HSPA on the primary sim slot. The Desire VC is a CDMA/EVDO phone with a SIM card slot for tri band GSM support.
The Desire V and Desire VC Dual sim phones of HTC has 4inch WVGA display and 1GHz Cortex A5 processor based on Qualcomm MSM7227A chipset, Adreno 200 GPU and 512MB of RAM. Other Specifications includes 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, 4GB internal memory and microSD expansion slot. It also includes Beats audio enhancements.
HTC Desire V will be launched in Asia in early July for a price of $345 (€275) and Desire VC will hit China market in the same period for a price $318 (€253).
