Samsung Galaxy Note gets official ICS update

Ever since Google  launched latest Android OS called Android Ice Cream Sandwich(ICS), many users are awaiting for the official firmware upgrade to ICS from Gingerbread. On March 13th, Samsung started giving ICS update to its top Android smartphone models such as Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.  However on that day, Galaxy Note users got only bug fix refresh.
Now Samsung officially announced Android 4.0 ICS update to Galaxy Note with new platform and a premium Suite. The new Firmware update for galaxy note will be available worldwide from second quarter of 2012.
On the occasion of announcement Samsung team said that " the Ice Cream Sandwich update brings an entirely new look and feel to Android on Galaxy Note, with a more intuitive user interface that includes a redesigned App menu for easier multi-tasking.The software package includes extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimized applications in addition to an OS upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.The upgrade also introduces innovations such as Face Unlock, Snapshot, Android Beam and others".
