Comparison between Galaxy S2 Vs HTC One X

Samsung Galaxy S2 is the powerful Android smartphone with gorgeous display screen and lightening speed processor.  The Galaxy SII is the slimmest and lightest smartphone available in the market. Meanwhile HTC One X is the first quad core powered Android smartphone from HTC.  The new HTC One X launched at MWC 2012. Here is the quick comparison between Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC One X.

Differences between Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC One X:
Design and Dimensions: Galaxy S2 has a dimension of 125.3*66.1*8.49mm and has a weight of 116 grams.  In other hand HTC One X has a dimensions of 134.4*69.9*9.33mm and weighs 130 grams. Here Galaxy S2 gets points as it is lighter and thinner than One X.
Display:  Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with 4.27 inch Super AMOLED plus with a screen resolution of 800*480 pixel.  HTC One X sports 4.7 inch Super LCD screen with a resolution of 1280*720 pixels.  This multi touch screen uses Super IPS LCD2 which is promise to offer brighter, clearer and sharper video output than Super AMOLED plus Screen. As per Specs, One X gets a point here. However overall difference in the display screen is not very  huge.
Processor: The HTC One X comes with 1.5 GHz Tegra 3 quad core processor with ULP GeForce GPU.  Galaxy S2 comes with 1.2 GHz dual core processor which is fast enough for a smartphone.  Overall HTC smartphone earns one more point as it powered by quad core processor and better GPU.
Operating System: HTC One X runs on Android ICS and Galaxy S2 has Gingerbread OS. However Samsung is offering ICS Firmware upgrade to Galaxy S2 from March 13th. Overall both smartphone earns one points in this section.
Camera: Both the smartphone has 8 MP rear camera. However Samsung Galaxy S2 has 2 MP front camera compared to 1.3 MP front camera of HTC One X.
Storage: Galaxy S2 has 16GB internal memory and memory can be added upto 32GB through microSD. HTC One X has 32GB internal memory and access to 25 GB free Dropbox(Cloud memory) for 2 years. It does not support microSD. Unless you are in a place where you have full internet access, Galaxy S2 is the better choice.
Battery: Samsung Galaxy S2 is powered by 1650mAh battery and One X has 1800 mAh battery. This is the tricky here. Even though HTC One X has bigger battery, battery life may not be as good as S2. This is because of its larger display screen and quad core processor.
Connectivity: Both the smartphone have the similar connectivity options.
