Connecting Blackberry Phone PC through BBDM

Establishing the connection between the Blackberry phone and a PC is very simple. For doing this you need to have Blackberry PC suite name Blackberry Desktop manager, USB cable to connect your phone. You can connect the phone to PC through Bluetooth also. We will discuss that later part. Below are the steps for connecting the Blackberry phone to PC through USB cable.

Steps for Connecting Blackberry phone and PC through Blackberry Desktop Manager:

• Download the Blackberry Desktop Manager appropriated to your device and install it on PC.
• Using USB cable, connect the Blackberry phone to PC.
• Now open Desktop Manager. By default BBDM searches for USB connected BB devices. 
• It will prompt for a password if password is set on phone.
• Enter the password. If everything is correct then the screen heading will show "Connected".

Note: If you dont see connected or you are not prompted for password, then one of the following is happening.

• Desktop manager was not able to detect your device.
• Connection setting is not set for USB connections.

For this do follow below steps if you are facing trouble with not able to connect.

• Choose Options->Connection Options at the right side of the screen. Ensure connection settings uses USB.
• In the connection Type drop down list, select the USB connection with your Blackberry PIN.
