Samsung Galaxy Ace GT- S5830 Review

The Samsung Galaxy Ace has a 3.5 inch Gorilla Glass capacitive touchscreen. This Galaxy Ace comes with Android Froyo OS and Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0 User interface.  The 800 MHz ARM II processor and Adreno 200 GPU handle the tasks very effortlessly. Importing the contacts from Google and social networking accounts is a onetime process. However it needs some extra effort.

Samsung Galaxy Ace feature the DNSe sound enhancement and 12 sounds presets. The virtual 5.1 stereo sound and stereo FM and RDS are really sounds great.  iPhone format MP4 video files and HD YouTube video’s played quite well. The handset is 3G enables with HSDPA speed up to 7.2 Mbps and features WiFi with 3G-Enables hotspot. Ace also supports DLNA for media streaming and standard Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 connectivity. Lack of Flash support hurts web browsing.
The 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera doesn’t capture very good outdoors images, and indoor images too were below average. Videos can be captured at 320*240 and 15fps.  This Galaxy Ace has 3 hours 30 minutes of talk time battery life is just average.  Even though there some drawbacks, The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a decent buy. Great UI and decent audio quality are makes this phone tempt to buy. This Galaxy Ace will be getting a Gingerbread update soon.
