Acer Computer

Acer  Released New Small Personnel Computer:
After the release of ATOM microprocessors, the size of the computer has been reduced to a huge extent. Before only DELL computers Inspiron and Otliplex series were the smallest PCs available in the market.

Now due to the Intel ATOM chipset, the mini laptops were introduced to the market. But still many of us still love using PC. Hence ACER released small form factor PC to offer Nvedia’s Ion platform, combining Intel’s Atom chip and the Ion graphics processor. The AspireRevo lets users watch 1080p HD video, play Direct X 10 games and tap the 3D capabilities of Windows Vista premium. The new nettop comes with either a SATA hard drive or Solid State Drive (SSD) and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory. The PC is designed to be attached to the back of any TV display or LCD and also incorporates 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and gigabit Ethernet connection.

Intel Atom Review

Intel celebrated its anniversary of its popular Atom family of microprocessors in April. In this occasion intel introduced its newer version of ATOM microprocessor. That is 2 Ghz version of chipset.

The atom microprocessor is the one of the leading microprocessor in the market. The small size, performance and more over its price attracted people to buy this processor. The first Atom processor was released on April 2008 in IDF Shangai.

The second new Z-series Atom chip is the Z515 that runs up to 1.2-Ghz. The two CPUs have Hyperthreading technology, which enables them to efficiency run multiple programs. The microprocessor family has won fame for the product they’re most used in today notebooks and laptops (mini).
